LINKING KETTERING + GOOGLE SCHOLAR
Did you know you can use Google Scholar to search Kettering databases for articles and journals? It should automatically work if you are logged into Google with your Kettering email address.
If it's not working, after logging in, just go to Settings > Library Links from the Google Scholar homepage and type in Kettering University. Tick the check box and click Save. If we have an article, you'll see the 'Full-Text @ Kettering' link in your Google Scholar search results.
Full-Text @ Kettering
Google Scholar also has an extension for the Chrome Browser worth checking out.
LINKING ENDNOTE + GOOGLE SCHOLAR
Did you know you can use Google Scholar bibliographic feature to automatically download EndNote citations?
Begin by clicking the Settings option inside Google Scholar.
At the bottom of the Settings page click the "Show links to import citations" option under Bibliography manager. Use the dropdown menu to chose EndNote. Click Save.
Now when pulling up an article in GoogleScholar, the "Import into EndNote" option will appear below each result. Click that if you want to save the citation into your downloaded version of EndNote.
The file will automatically save to your computer. Download it to a place where you'll be able to find it later.
Inside EndNote use the Open function, navigate to the file you saved, and select it. It will appear as if nothing happened, but the citation will save to your Downloaded folder inside EndNote. From there you can move it to the proper place.
