The library also owns the 81-volume set from 2013 set of the ASTM Standards available for in-library use only.
ASTM International is an international standards organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services.
Each term on 4th Week Wednesday the library hosts a Gaming Night. We have videogames like Rockband and Mariokart, a pingpong table, board games and card games, and free food for students.
One of our recent additions to Gaming Night is the BB8 droid from Star Wars, which is controllable by a mobile app.
The library has an institutional repository called Digital Commons. Currently we are in beta, with plans to go live soon. Digital Commons aims to provide a place for faculty to archive their scholarly work created at Kettering University.
Faculty Works is the faculty profile module of Digital Commons. It allows every Kettering faculty member to maintain a public-facing research profile and is fully customizable.
Two of the only Mac computers at Kettering are in the library. We have two 27" iMacs (one with a 5K Retina screen) loaded with software from the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and iMovie. The computers are available first come first serve for students or faculty.
Coming soon: a large-format printer suitable for printing banners or large signs.
