Using ASME Digital Collection

ASME Press is an imprint of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), established to publish high-quality professional and reference works, handbooks, and advanced monographs in established and emerging areas of interest to mechanical engineers and allied disciplines. The ASME Digital Collection currently contains over 200 new and classic eBooks and will increase by approximately 10-15 new titles each year.

This collection can be searched using the search box at the top right of the page. You can also browse by year, title, and subject using the links in the blue navigation bar.

Once you locate a title that sounds relevant to your needs, you can click the title of the book to be taken to its description and citation information. From there, you can scroll down and access individual chapters. You will be able to click "Abstract" to read a short description of the individual chapter. Or click "PDF" to view the chapter in your browser with the option to download or print that chapter.

The database does not allow you to download the entire book in one file, but does allow you to download all chapters individually.
