CE 642: Mobile Robotics covers fundamentals of robotics with an emphasis on mobile robots, which are intelligent integrated mechanical, electrical and computational systems functioning in the physical world will be covered. Topics include state-of-the-art technologies in mobile robotics, such as locomotion, sensing, control, communication, localization, mapping, navigation, etc. Advanced topics such as coordination of multiple mobile robots are also explored. The course aims to provide both theoretical and practical experience to students through lectures and simulation software. Students also complete independent projects or research current topics covering mobile robotics technologies and related fields.
Robohub Podcast is a non-profit robotics podcast where we interview experts in robotics, including researchers, entrepreneurs, policy makers, and venture capitalists. Our interviewers are researchers, entrepreneurs, and engineers involved in robotics. Our interviews are technical and, often, get into the details of what we are discussing, but we make an effort to have our interviews understandable to a general audience.
Become an expert in robot programming with ROS by listening to the experts. Every week, we interview an expert in robot programming with ROS who will give us tips and tricks based on his experience. Learn to program robots with ROS from the experts!
Join Steve Crowe and Eugene Demaitre every Wednesday on the Robot Report Podcast for discussions with leading roboticists, innovative robotics companies, and other key members of the robotics community.
