1. WHAT IS QUICKSEARCH?
Quick Search is a powerful Google-like research tool that lets you search nearly all the library's resources at once. Just enter a search to find books, ebooks, journal articles, and more. Quick Search is a great starting point to find lots of information on your topic. If you're not sure where to begin, use the Search All tab.
Quick Search is found right in the middle of the library's homepage. You can also search right here:
QuickSearch defaults to a keyword search in all fields. To find a specific article, use Advanced Search and change the dropdown menu to Title. You can also combine multiple search terms using AND, OR or NOT.
The Results Page of Quick Search allows limiting by Content Type (article, newspaper, book) and by Publication Date. You can either include or exclude each content type.
For most academic assignments, limit your search to Scholarly & Peer Review.
