Using Chronicle of Higher Education

The Chronicle, a privately owned, independent news and information organization, was founded in 1966 and originally owned by a nonprofit, Editorial Projects in Education. EPE sold The Chronicle in 1978 to Jack Crowl and Corbin Gwaltney, and The Chronicle of Higher Education Inc. was formed. Gwaltney bought the entire company in 1990, and he is co-chair of its board of directors, along with his wife, Pamela Gwaltney. The Chronicle of Higher Education Inc. publishes The Chronicle of Higher EducationThe Chronicle of Philanthropy, Arts & Letters Daily, and The Chronicle Review.

In order to use The Chronicle of Education, Kettering users and staff must first create an account.

To create an account:

  • select "Log In" from the homepage
  • then "Create an Account".

 

 

 

A verification email will be sent, and from here you must follow the link to create a password. 

After your login is established, you can simply login in the future both from on campus and from home. 

To use The Chronicle of Higher Education, you may browse by section along the left-hand side of the screen, or choose from one of the search options along the top.

The site also features a search bar for quick searching.
