Course Reserves: Home

Information about Course Reserves available at the KU Library.

What are Course Reserves?

The KU Library makes every attempt to acquire a copy of course materials each term based the information we receive from the Online Bookstore and individual professors. Course Reserves come in a variety of formats, such as eBooks, physical books, and other class-related materials, such as PDFs.

If you're having any issues with accessing eBooks, contact the Librarians at library@kettering.edu (810-762-9598).

If you would like to check-out a physical reserve, contact Circulation at libaccess@kettering.edu (810-762-7814).

If you would like to place an item on reserve, contact Head of Collections Access, Josh Olsen, jolsen@kettering.edu (810-762-7816). He coordinates the ordering and processing of reserves.

All eBooks and Physical Books we have on Reserve each term are available to browse here. You must type in KU in the top search box to filter.

If you would just like to browse physical materials. The library has two types of physical books on Reserve in the library, those owned by professors and those owned by the library. These check-out for 30 days.

The current list of Physical Reserves can be found here. If you need one of the items, please contact Circulation at libaccess@kettering.edu and we will set-up a secure pick-up using our new Smart Locker system.
