COURSE RESERVES/TEXTBOOKS

The Kettering University Library provides access to nearly 60% of required course reserves/textbooks as a service to the students and faculty. The Search Portal is updated in each zero section for the upcoming term.

  • Students, if you're having issues finding your textbook or course from the Library Course Reserve/Textbooks Search Portal, please follow the steps on this page here for more detailed information on how to find them. Also free to stop at the Learning Commons 3rd Floor Library Desk or chat with a librarian (during business hours), or you can email us anytime at library@kettering.edu. Additional student information, such as a FAQ is avaialable on this page here. 
  • Faculty, you may submit a request form or email library@kettering.edu to ensure materials (articles, eBooks, etc.) are obtained by the library or we will work with the bookstore and place required materials based on what is reported , if available. Additional information on this page here.

Finding Course Reserves/Textbooks

Electronic Items

  • Library E-Reserves (Streaming Media & Electronic Materials, such as Books/Chapters/Articles), available 24/7 via Kettering Login Credentials
  • Materials on Demand service can request Book Chapters and Articles, not owned by Kettering, for use in your Blackboard Course Shell for the term

Physical Items

All required course reserve materials must be in electronic format.
