Looking for Course Reserves/eTextbooks from the library? We can help with that! Each term the library reviews the required texts reported to the bookstore and tries to acquire an electronic copy of each text, when available. The Course Reserves Portal is updated in the zero section/break week before the next term.
If you need any assistance finding course reserves, please contact the library at library@kettering.edu.
Navigate your way to the library's page (https://my.kettering.edu/page/library) OR go direct to the Course Reserves Portal.
Scroll down until you see the link on the left side of the page that says "Course Reserves" and click on "Course Reserves by Term" That link will take you to the reserves search.
In the search box, you can type in several different search terms (Course Name, Book Name, Course Acronym/Number, Faculty Name, etc.). Please Note: Not all courses will have reserves at the library and the KU bookstore should be consulted instead.
For example, you could type "LS 201" and click the magnifying glass to see the results. You will see all the texts available for "LS 201" listed on the next page.
Please click "Available Online" to be taken directly to the eBook. Depending on the vendor of the book, the resulting page may look different from the one below but will allow you to read in your browser or download portions to your device. Please be mindful of user limits. Some titles are available for unlimited users and others are limited to a certain amount of users, such as 3-users at a time.
If you need assistance or have questions, email us at library@kettering.edu and we will be happy to assist you in locating reserve materials for your course. We are here to help!
