Creating a persistent link:
To create a persistent link, simply navigate to the resource you wish to share. From here, you can choose the option to "share the book" from the menu on the left side of the screen:. Copy and paste the link provided in the pop-up box:
Searching in Academic Complete (part of ProQuest's Ebook Central)
Searching in Academic Complete is very easy using any combination of keywords, authors, title, or general subject. You can also click the link below the search box to browse by category.
The search results will offer filtering on the left side of the screen to narrow your results down, including year published and subject, among others.
Click on the title of the book you want to read. You can read the full synopsis, see the full citation information, and choose how you prefer to read the book (in-browser or download the PDF). You can also scroll down the page to go directly to a chapter you're interested in. To download the full book, click the button to the left of the page that says "Download Book."
This will open a pop-up where you can then download the book. If you can't get the book to open on your computer, you may need to download the free e-reader called Adobe Digital Editions.
Select Download Book from the Book Details Page or the Online Reader on Ebook Central.
Select loan length. The available options depend on your institution's settings. 
Select Download the app. You will need the code to register your device.
Select a download option for your device.
Open the app and enter the code to register your device. 
On your bookshelf you can see the books you have selected. On the top right corner you have features for viewing the books as thumbnails or in a list. You can also change interface language. For each book you can view Book Details and Download.
For a downloaded book you can click Read.
On the book pages you can use the features on the top right corner to change font size. You can also open the Book Details pane, where you have access to details about the book, features for searching the book and the table of contents. Features for adding bookmarks and annotations will be available at a later stage.
The Currently Reading feature will be available when you have started reading a book. From here you can return to where you left the book.
