A how-to of the Kettering & MeL databases

Central and Eastern European Academic Source

To create a persistent link that can be shared with Kettering-affiliated users, you will first locate the material in the database that you want to share. Then, you will click the 3 vertical dots to the right of the title and then click "Share."

A new box will open. Click "Create link" to get the URL. Copy the URL and share in a syllabus or with Kettering-affiliated students and faculty. 

Using Central & Eastern European Academic Source

Central & Eastern European Academic Source database contains more than 3,000 peer-reviewed, full-text journals for immediate viewing and download.

To get started searching the database, use the search box in the middle of the database's homepage. You can enter any combination of subject, title, author, or keyword.

On the top of the results page, you can use filters to narrow your results, including publication year range, full text, peer-reviewed, source type, language, and more. To open the document, click "PDF Full Text."

Once the PDF opens, you can immediately read it in your browser. Or, you can use the icons at the top right of the page to share, print, or download the document.
